- Your spa has been set at approx 38c. To change temperature simply press the up to increase the temperature and the down to decrease temperature.
- To use your spa, remove the lid and store carefully. Enter water carefully NO JUMPING and make sure it is not too hot. (test first).
- To operate the jets push on/off button once to start the 15 minute timer, to turn air jets off under 15 minutes push on/off button once.
- When not using spa, replace both lids to keep in the heat and do not climb on top of the cover.
- The spa will maintain temperature by itself, don’t worry if the spa continues to run.
- Do not use electrical items within five feet of the spa including telephone.
- Children must be over ten years old and accompanied by an adult.
- At more than 37.5c you should not spend more than fifteen minutes in the spa.
- Pregnant women and persons with heart disease, circulatory problems, diabetes or low or high blood pressure should consult a doctor before using the spa.
- People with infectious diseases should not use a spa or hot tub.
- Do not use drugs or alcohol before or during the use of the spa or hot tub.
- Do not use the spa or hot tub immediately following strenuous exercise.
- When removed, do not stand or sit on the inflatable lid as it can puncture easily- for this you will be liable.Ensure lids are placed in a clean, prickle, stone free area.
- It is essential that everyone using the spa showers before use, and no foreign bodies e.g. grass, earth, sand, stones or sharp objects are introduced to the water. Your spa will perform better if kept clean, therefore more enjoyable to use.
- Check filter regularly and if it appears to be dirty, (turn off power place caps supplied over flow, return and blower connections) power-wash with a hose set on max pressure. See ‘Cleaning the filter’ sheet for full instructions.
- Failure to do this may result in a decline in temperature for which Rubber Duckies Hot Tubs will not take responsibility. 16. Your spa is designed for 4-6 persons. Overloading the spa can cause damage for which you will be liable.
- It is important to use the chemicals as per the instructions that are left with you. If the chemicals are not used properly and the water becomes dirty, it can cause anything from mild skin disorders to much more serious illnesses. It is recommended that the water is tested 3 times per day, findings recorded on the log sheet and the water then adjusted accordingly using the chemicals provided. The PH plus and minus are used the adjust and keep the acidity / alkalinity of the water in check. The Oxidiser will oxidise organic matter. Bromide is a disinfectant.
- No substance will be introduced to the water unless supplied or purchased from Rubber Duckies Hot Tubs.
Any damage incurred due to misuse or not following the above recommendations must be paid for in full. Undersigned renter understands the above information and acknowledges that the use of the spa is at the renters risk. Renter has read the owners manual and understands all risks involved and care of the spa while in the renters possession. Undersigned renter agrees to release this establishment from any and all liabilities incurred with the use of the spa.
All damages must be paid for on collection.
I have accepted the spa as being in perfect condition unless detailed below.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I, the Customer, voluntarily make and grant this Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk in favour of Rubber Duckies (the ‘Owner’) as partial consideration (in addition to monies paid to the Owner) for the opportunity to use the facilities, equipment, materials and/or other assets of the Owner; and/or to receive assistance, training, guidance and/or instruction from the personnel of the Owner; and/or to engage in the activities, events, sports, festivities and/or gatherings sponsored by the Owner; I hereby waive and release any and all claims whether in contract or for personal injury, property damage, damages, losses and/or death that may arise from my aforementioned use or receipt, as I understand and recognise that there are certain risks, dangers and perils connected with such use and/or receipt, which I hereby acknowledge to have been fully explained to me and which I fully understand, and which I never the less accept, assume and undertake after inquiry and investigation as to the nature and extent of such risks has shown those risks to be wholly satisfactory and acceptable to me. I further agree to use my best judgment in undertaking these activities, use and/or receipt and to strictly adhere to all safety instructions and recommendations, whether oral or written. I hereby certify that I am a competent adult assuming these risks of my own free will, being under no compulsion or duress.
I hereby take full responsibility of the assets in good order and am fully responsible for the supervision and safekeeping and informing other persons and/or guardians of the risks associated with the using of the equipments and the responsibility of Liability and Assumption of Risk is wavered from the Owner.
